any suggestions on how can I do this on one end of my needle barrel for my bf-109E-4?

i'll be using a 1mm diameter (outside) hypo needle.

Hi Erwin,

The only things I could think of was to get a piece of thin plastic 2 or 3 mm thick, drill a 1mm hole in it and glue the needle into it. Then cut away the plastic around the needle leaving enough there so you can sand it to shape.

Alternatively you could apply a drop of thick superglue to the end of the needle, wait for it to dry and again sand it to shape.

I tried all sorts of ways to achieve this, in the end I just glued in the S/Steel tube without flash hider. No one knew, until now Martins idea sounds like a good bet though, hope you have good eye sight

Your diagram actually looks more like the type of cannon fitted to Swiss Bf 109Es. I try to sort out some pics of the standard Luftwaffe armament when I get home from work tonight.

Thanks Rowan. I'm using the 1/48 Hasegawa Bf-109 E-4 kit. this is from the kit.
