Does anyone know if the gun cover between the wings was hinged to open forward and stay attached to the wing (like the P-51) or did the whole panel come off? Were there placards on the underside of the panel too, like the P-51? Photos would be sweet.
Additionally, are the other major parts of the plane panited the same colors (wheel wells etc) as the P-51? From what I can tell in b&w photos it looks like it, but I'm curious if there's a more definitive answer out there.
Thanks in advance.
