Hello,
does someone have any information about this pronounced kit? Is it a new kit or a reboxed one with new decals? I'd like to hear a word about the quality of academy's Lightning kits too.

Hallo Harald,

I have Academy's P-38F as the Pro Modeler re box. They are overall the best 1/48 P-38s available. There are opinions that the cockpit detail is soft. Here's a review of their P-38J: Academy's P-38J

I believe the pedigree is Academy, who sold it to Hasegawa, who sold it to Pro Modeler and then Revell AG. So I would guess this is Academy's model reissued with Glacier Girl.

Need something about Glacier Girl? I live about 2 hours away and plan to see her in late Dec.
