The above 4 pics are of my 1/16th Jenny Canuck that I am building for my "Memories of Flight School" diorama. The diorama will contain 2 Jennys, one a Canuck and the other a JN4D.The Jenny 4D will be a basketcase being robbed for parts. The diorama will also contain 2 cars,2 motorcycles and a trailer.
Cheers! John.

Stunning, simply stunning. I love seeing scratch built stuff, especially in progress. Is there anywhere where you have more info on how you do this, or can you post here
Eagerly awaiting the next instalment.

Thanks guys! Yes,as I mentioned over in the diorama section, I have been contributing to the aerodrome.com for about a year and a half now on the building of airplanes and dioramas.Go to :
http://www.theaerodrome.com see Forums,Models,"How I build airplane dioramas"
Better sit down with your favorite brew though, there are about 67 pages to read.
On this site I will divide it up between the diorama and the airplane threads depending on the subject matter.I have begun over on the dioramas thread with a couple of postings from the last few days.
Cheers! John

Jeremy,I dont really count the hours but as a rough estimate I do about 800-1000 Hours in the shop per year building. On top of that I do a lot of research, planning etc.The Albatros and Neiuport dioramas took over a year each and the jenny has been underway for about a year and a half now.I have just turned 65 so I am slowing down a litttle. The hands and eyes are still good ,its just the stamina that has diminished over time.I started as a modelship builder 35 years ago.
Cheers! John.

Hi John

That is simply awesome! We need to gather this into a Feature - where it'll be far more accessible and have a longer "shelf-life" than in the forums. I'll be away over Christmas and New Year, but please nag me early in 2006 if I haven't already pestered you - let's build an article out of these posts.

All the best

Rowan
