I'm thinking of building a dio with 2 or 3 P-40's parked beside a landing strip.......sort of an AVG group scene. I have found some P-40B's for around $3.00 each. Question is, has anyone built any of these and how much detail are in these kits? The kits are Academy 1/72's and the finished product on the website doesn't look all that great.

Second question, what is the best 1/42 P-40 kit out right now? I'm looking for decent detail out of the box without spending a load on add-on's.
