I'd like to see an AH-1S Cobra. The Sea Cobras done by MRC are very nice, the only other one in that type of scale is the old Revell 1/32 AH-1G Cobra done in Vietnam era styling.
Also an early model OH-58A/C Kiowa. This one could be issued with Army and civilian Jet Ranger markings. These kits would work well in dioramas with modern armor.

1/35th MH-53J and Hind (which sounds like it's on the way from Trumpeter)
And a good detail set for the Academy MH-60 that provides the ammo chutes for the minioguns (anyone figure out a good way to make these?)

yeah, yeah, yeah.... drooling...
Mi-24's and lots of them ( on the way from Trumpeter)
UH1D's (Panda is a start, but sounds like they need some work)
early Cobra, and mid-80's Army models too
Early Kiowa
MH-53J
Mi-28
Ka 50 and Ka 52
I want them all and I want them NOW..
yeah, greedy I know..and $$ to buy them and a bigger house to put them up in...
(while I'm dreaming, you know...)
Mike

Does anyone make an MH-6J in 1/35?
-As for the ammo chutes, I can't picture them in my head at the moment, but have you thought about the plastic zip-ties? The ones that are smooth on one side but racheted on the other...they oftem make great ammo chutes.

DML made an AH-6J, I have heard someone say that they made the MH-6J, but I have not seen it. I don't know the differences except that the MH-6J had the outboard seats and the AH-6Js had the miniguns.

I would like a Kaman HH-43 Huskie in 35 scale. It's the first chopper I ever flew on.

You ever run across the old Testors Hawk 1/32 scale Huskie? I built one 20 years ago and saw it re-released in one of those cardboard box HSO (Hobby Shop Only) releases a year or so ago.

I did that kit about the same time you did Rob. And I did see the re-release some time ago. I didn't pick it up and now wish I had. Mach2 makes one in 72 scale but I hear that their kits aren't very good. What I'd really like is a 35th scale kit by Academy, maybe. We used to call that bird the egg beater, and when you flew in it you thought it was going to vibrate to pieces.
I only got one ride, but it was my first on a helicopter, so it hold sentimental value.

PORKCHOP,
Ammo Chutes - I had this idea in my mind with a little help from a friend that scratched built the chutes for the 1/32 A-10. He used staples, so I thought, why not wrap staples around a rubberband. The ones he did lookes great, but they where already pre positioned and shaped. So thr rubberband would be flexiable to shape.
Definatly a 1/35 "S***Hook" Chinook. Academy still list there 1/35 UH-1N still coming out, but when is a mistary????

If you are talking about the spent ammo casing dicharge chute on the mini-guns and .50 Cals(looks like a length of flexible dryer vent hose), try using the flexible part from a juice box straw. Joining a couple together should give you the proper length. You could also add a length of copper wire to the inside so it will hold a bend and be positionable.
Epi, I like the idea for the ammo belts as well.

! I would have never came up with that.

lambertjr,
You are going to run out of room with all the large scale requests. With all of this and those 1/350 ships you had better have a BIG house.

Cobra makes an MH-6 conversion kit for the DML AH-6.

Hmmmm staples and a rubber band....... That sure beats dropping $29 bucks for photoetch that doesn't exist yet. Let's see, your friends idea comes to a grand total of... about 10 cents. I think I'll give it a shot. Now where did put that kit?

All I want is an AH-1F.............Although, it would be nice to see the entire Cobra family starting with the earliest AH-1Gs all the way up to the MOD/C-NITE variants. If the parts were broken down properly, I think that most, if not all of the single engine Snakes could be kitted using separate parts trees, etc.

Ka-50/52 Hokum

Thanks!

Viper,
The AH-64D is out by IMEX, but its not that accurate. The Mi-24 HIND is coming out by Trumpeter next year.

These babies ain't gonna be cheap!
Trump's MI-4 is going for US$80 +/- a few bucks. Imagine what a CH-47 or CH-53 would go for...

Didn't the tail rotor switch sides sometime during the Cobra's development? Although I have no idea as to when and with what model this happened. As I stated above, some Army Snakes would be welcome.

Hey guys, I saw That Panda Models has released a UH-1D slick in 1/35 scale. It's about time someone got on the wagon and brought out the workhorse.
