Hi all.
Here's something a little different and my first Commerical aircraft.
Its the Ford Tri-Motor in 1/77th scale (built between 1926-1933). Its Basicly done painted in overall Model Master Non-buffing Metalizer and gloss black. Decals set with solveset.
This is a Revell re-issue of an older kit so I decided to build it with a Modeler's Challenge. This kit was made without a bit of putty. Just a lot of sanding and a lot of test-fitting. It was a quick build over the holidays to work on a few new techniques.

It's good to see the tin goose modeled. Nice job.

Hi Delbert!
Nice trimotor indeed! It's good to have commercial planes to see at Armorama! I don't have many in my stash... in fact only one I noticed: William Bros. 1/48 Ford flivver.
You did a great job on your kit! About not using putty, it's quite an exploit! But It's better not to use putty on those corrugated surfaces anyway!
What about a "Commercial Aircraft Campaign" one day?

Hi Delbert, hi all,
A civil breath in that "all military" filled modelling world...
GREAT ! That's the only single word coming to my mind about your Ford Trimotor. I've always loved that commercial plane, and your kit is an outstanding demonstration of how beautiful these were !
Very nice build, congrats !
Regards,
Richard
