hi guys done the cockpit and seats hope to upload some pics later in the meantime i,ve got to painting the front fuesalage i have the following colour insruction in the instructions
x-25:2
+ x-13:1
+ x-2:2
this is exactly how it is written i believe it relates to mixing colours but which ones ??? thanks for your help

The "formula" is Tamiya's paint instruction
If the references you gave are exact, you need three tamiya colors to get that precise shade for the front fuselage:
X25 = Gloss Clear Green
X13 = Gloss Metallic Blue
X2 = Gloss White
The numbers after the paint references are the parts you have to mix together:
2 parts of X25
1 part of X13
2 parts of X2
In total you have 5 parts, this means each part makes 20%, so you would have to mix the following amount of paint:
40% of X25
20% of X13
40% of X2
Isn't that simple? (not really :-) )
By the way, are you sure the references are X and not XF? X are glossy paints and XF matt paints. If the paints are XF it would be very different:
XF25 = Matt Light Sea Grey
XF13 = Matt J.A. Green
XF2 = Matt White
The proportions would be the same though...

jean-luc many thanks for taking the time to reply i studied the formula myself sussed out the first number was the paint colour the second being the ratio i,ve mixed the paint and very pleased with the result many thanks once again pod 123
