There are color galleries of fighters, fighter-bombers (this one), bombers, transports and seaplanes...just look around:

Jeff Ethel (sp?) published a number of books with color pictures, of WWII aircraft, taken during the war. They're real treats.

Now if he'd only had the foresight to go back in time and document the interior colors of these planes.....

Now I have to wait in line to use the computer because both my boys are looking at the airplane pictures. You guys are turning them into WWII airplane nuts..........kind of like their dad was 25 years ago. :-)
