There was a story about that same corsair in FSM some time ago. Thanks for the link, there's great close-ups, FSM had only overall pictures. That's some serious metal work!

It certainly is a fantastic project.
More scale engineering than modelling.
Glad he found a good use for all his old dentistry tools.Certainly a lot more pleasant than what they were designed for
