im looking for a kit of this to no avail at the moment does anyone have any ideas where to find one and also a few quality large c-130 kits

Believe Revell used to make a C-5A Galaxy in 1/144 sacle. There was also an obscure vac-form kit in 1/72 a while ago too. That is about as big as it comes.

Italeri does a few C-130 versions in 1/48 scale; a C-130J, C-130H, and an AC-130U.

Italeri also does a couple in 1/72. Airfix has a combo kit that makes a C-130E, H, or K version as well.

The Revell kit is the old Otaki offering. I've seen it built up and it's pretty good. In 1/144, it's about the size of a 1/72 B-52.
