It was announced both here and on other sites a few months ago, now all the speculation is at an end with the announcement of the imminent relase of Trumpeter''s long-awaited Chinook in 1/35th scale. The report takes the form of a photo report with a wide selection of images of both the kit sprues and the finished model. Enjoy!!!

Jim this great news I'm looking forward to seeing this on my work bench. It's even better than I thought, nice panel lines and rivet work. Nice wide open cargo bay to scratchbuild my little heart out Thanks for posting.
BTW: I've heard it should be released in Feb, you hear anything differently

And it would be so sweet if somebody would make a MH-47E conversion set, or would that be difficult?
Cheers

This has already been discussed over at FSM Helo forum. It would take quite a bit of work, but is totally doable. It would be much easier using the forthcoming CH-47D model as well. Chief Snake from Cobra Company hinted that it may be a future project. We shall see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thats an interesting perspective on Valentines day. First you thought about the present than your Mrs than eventually hoping the present comes back to you. Talk about coming full circle! :-) :-) :-)
...and they say Armorama is only for learning modelling techniques! Now to see if this works on my Mrs.
