Hi all,
I started a new project, a Swedish Airforce (surprise!) J35J Saab Draken in 1/72. This is NOT for any campaign (imagine that!), just something that I wanted to build after discussing the aircraft on the trivia thread.
I thought I'd try to learn a little about photo-etch this time. I've been working with the cockpit for a little while, and I must say - this detailing work is addictive!
The model is Hasegawa Draken 1/72, with Eduard PE and some scratchbuilt additions. For scale, the cockpit is placed on a Swedish Krona (which is about the same size as a 1 Euro coin. And a tad larger than a quarter... ).
:-)
Any input is helpful!
Ps. I think I'm going to build the bottom one...

PolarBear,
Is it the detail work that is addictive or is it maybe the pain-killers you have to take for the headaches involved in working with something that tiny? :-)
Nice work!
I envy people with good eyesight and steady hands.

Hi Björn!
The word "addictive" is one I see often on Armorama! :-) Don't worry, you don't have to the doctor for a visit... maybe the psy!
This cockpit is little by the size, but big by the quality!

P.S. I can't see the second picture in your post... X

Polar Bear.
Thats incredible detail on something so small.Very well done.
Almost inspires me to try some cockpit detail on my 1/72 warbirds.
Almost,,,,,I think it would do my head in but the end the result would be spectacular.
