Hi Rowan. There is a little bit of misnaming here as that is NOT a 'forklift'! it is a lifting trolley used not only around airfields but also anywhere in stores where heavy gear needs to be shifted around.
A forklift is a motorised vehicle that a driver sits on and operates with a boom twin forked lift in front.
Nice kit though by the looks of it.
Cheers

Hi Cliff
I did wonder... Strictly speaking, it's not "USAF" either, but that's the kit's name...
I'll pop "lifting trolley" into the body of the text. Thanks for checking.
All the best

Hi all!
I decided to go with the kit's name... even if it may be wrong strictly speaking. But remember Signifer is a French manufacturer... so this can happen!
So the right name should be: US Lifting Trolley ? Maybe I could tell M. Meissonnier about it.
Anyway, this gives me the oportunity to thank you Rowan for getting the reviews online. It's the last one of a serie I've done so far but you should see more from Signifer! I also received a set of Artificial Snow but will test it first on a diorama before making a review...

Hi All
The correct name should be;
Truck, 1-Ton, 3-Wheel, Bomb Lift, M1,
and was used with/and carried on the Chevrolet 1.5 ton
M-6 Bomb Service Truck 4x4.
Of course possible use in Warehouses etc.
You can find some details on my site;
