I was going to use my Tamiya Mustang 3 (RAF 112th) for the "show your teeth" campaign but changed my mind...Any suggestions on markings/ decals (1/48th) for either the 354th FG or any other non bare metal paint schemes for the P-51 B?
Thanks...N

Hi Nigel:

Why don´t you try with the "Old Crow" of the 357th FG.
It does exists Repli Scale decal sheet No.48-5059.
Here you have some details:

Hi Nigel!

This picture is very interesting! The plane seems to smile
I always liked Spitfires in Desert Scheme with American Stars. I think it makes the Spit look even better than the usual camo schemes... Do you have more reference pictures about this plane?
Sorry if I am

Nigel, I’d say stick with 112 Squadron for your Mustang III. I was going to do one (see the campaign thread), but then realised that you had dibs (first choice) on the 112 Sqn Mustang. Since then I’ve found, and started working on, another idea.

IPMS Stockholm did a nice profile on 112 Sqn:

Eric, no worries...it gave me an excuse to research another airplane & rethink one that I've had sitting around...for me that's half the fun!

Jean-Luc, I thought you might like this Spitfire, especially after seeing the great tropical Spit on your website. I'll have more pictures etc. soon but I'll post them on the "show your teeth" thread...until then check out... www.31stfightergroup.com/31stReference/Reference.html ...N

Hi Nigel!

Thanks for the link! Spitfires with stars are the best looking ones! Hope Mal won't kill me for saying that!
