Dave O''Meara takes a look at Revell''s new 1/48 scale kit of one of the most famous aircraft of all time - and he''s not the least bit Grumpy! LOL!

Thanks Rowan.....
I started building mine last night.... so far no major problems..... except found out that poor "Lucky" only comes with one head for two bodies......

Hi Dave and Rowan!

Nice one, thank you both! I'm not a "civilian" plane fan but this is one I will buy and add to my stash and hopefully to my completed models collection in the future.

I hope a Junkers W.33 will follow for 2008 anniversary.

Walk around here: Junkers W.33L "Bremen"

Both together would be a nice display :-)

cheers

Although I'm not a regular aircraft builder, I do like doing a wing thing every now and then.....
That Junkers W.33 certainly looks interesting, sure would be nice as a 1/48 scale kit....
1/72 either keeps getting smaller, or my eyes keep getting worse..... :-) :-)

I would like to display the 2 first flights in one display and as the Spirit is in 1/48 the W.33 would have too (besides 1/48 is my preferred scale).

I once built 1/72 but it also is far too small for me - being 31 it cannot be the age, can it???

It would be nice if the form could be used for multiple planes, to make it worthwile to produce for Revell (or other) I see some similarity F.13 and W.33 tail. Maybe there is enough similarity to a W.34 too???

Just dreaming...

Steffen
