This looks really cool here Jose!
I hope that the decals will come out well!
They'll give you a very nice painting scheme!
Also the details you add with the photo etched are very nice. The air hose is a nice touch!
Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback!
Holdfast, this is 1/48.
Here goes some pics of the seat and the tub only lacking a clear coat, and some more bits...
Hope you like it, and please send some feedback.
José Pedro.

Josepedro, very nice job so far. If the rest of the plane looks as good as the cockpit, I can't wait to see the finished product. I love to see close up pictures of cockpits and see what kind of personal touches people use to enhance the realism.
BRAVO!

Jose'
That is outstanding work!
Are you working from reference pictures? It's amazing how much detail you can put in such a small place. When you finish this project you'll have beautiful addition for your shelf. You should be very, very proud of this one so far.
Beautiful!

Hi José!
That is going to be a real masterpiece! The level of detail is outstanding! Are you building this one for the "Show Your Teeth" Campaign? I would be very happy if it was the case!

I think it would be just perfect for the Campaign! There is still plenty of time until the deadline...

Hello José,
This is really turning out to be...stunning, yeah real nice work. The detail looks pretty good, are you going by any references. Love the cockpit, looks like you found your way around the Photo-Etch. Looking forward to seeing some more progress pics.

Hi José!
I think your method of removing the plastic by drilling small holes is probably one of the most time consuming but also the safest! I would have used my Dremel and probably cut half the plastic away...
In the end your Resin parts seems to fit perfectly! The bad side is, once you realise it's not that difficult to work with resin, you will want to make more and more subjects based on conversions!

Hi José Pedro,
The level of detail you are putting into this kit is quite amazing. Definitely keep us posted on your progress and keep taking pics as i am taking notes.
What is the story behind the tail design, is it some anniversary of some sort ?

Hi José!
I would suggest you continue to post here. Your build thread, as it is, is easy to follow and very detailed...
For the "Teeth" Campaign, a picture of the model prior to painting (fuselage + wings) and a finished pictures of course would be enough. I think I have to add your model in the "In Flight" section!

Hello Jean Luc and Andy!
Ok, i´ll continue posting im here.
Andy, This painting scheme was created to perpetuate the last flight of the Corsair at the service of the Portuguese Air Force.
It was aplied on the A-7P nº 15521, and contains the names of all the pilots that flew the corsair, and, the symbols of both squadrons that operated it, (Tigers and the Falcons) as well as the number of hours flown between 1981 and 10 of July 1999, when the motor of the last corsair was cutted: 64000 hours.
