Here is what is completed so far on the Trumpeter 32 scale P-38L.
I worked on these two all day yesterday and am pleased with how things are coming along.

Hi Penny,
Looking good! I almost bought one at the Kingsport Hobby Lobby when I had a 40% off coupon. Alas, I decided my ME-262 does not need a distraction.

Hi Penny, that's a nice subject you're building there.
I'm curious: are you going to build it OOB or maybe use some Eduard PE? Anyways all the best with the build, and keep us posted on your progress.
Kind regards,
Tjemme

Hi guys, Thanks for the compliments..... I'm building Richard Bong's P-38 with this kit. There are a few fit problems, but nothing that some filler and a good old #11 xacto- blade can't fix. :-) The kit came with some PE parts, and that's gonna be all that I put on it.

Sometime this year I plan on building a P-38 for my collection. I've had my eye on a 1/24 scale Hasegawa at my local hobby store but the wife said "no way" because the decals included with the kit had a naked woman on the front fuselage. :-)
