Hi,
Im looking for a few people to try out my www.projectsonly.co.uk
site to post their 'build diaries' of their projects.

At the moment the site categories cover 'real' cars, planes, boats etc.
I will add a 'scale models' section.

Anyone interested, register for an account and give it a go.
thanks
Steve

Steve, an interesting site. I like the Firefly restoration, particularly as I'm just starting a 1/48 model of the same. I did start the registration process but stopped at the second page as I don't like the idea of giving that amount of info, I may re-consider though.

Hi Mal
When you register and then log in, you go through to your own interface and can see your own account info.
You can always edit it after that, Ideally accurate information is good. But the reality is nobody else see's it so if you go through and then delete it or revise it to the minimum you are happy with their is no permanent record other than the one you can change.

Just wanted to add that the site will soon be split to define the different topic areas (from real projects to scale model project to school projects)

The users will be at the heart of this control.
Im implementing a dynamic menu system so each user can define their own categories and post their own articles.

In my case (with my car resto) my cats would be
Engine, Body, Mods etc.

For a modeller you could put in your own categories such as 'Aircraft', 'AFV', 'Helicopters' even' Build Process' ' Tips' ' Showcased'

Its early days with the site and Im just keen for people to use it. Any rough edges I can hammer flat as I get feedback
