I was working on Academy's 1/72 A-10 and dropped one of the 'metal' exhausts (the ones in the engine nacelles) out of the window, into the abyss.
Short of buying a new kit, is there any way to fabricate a new one? I thought of using real metal to maintain scale thickness, but the exhausts are tapered, not just tubular, so I can't use metal rods.

Why not cast a new part from the one you still have?
