Hi,
In the opinion of you chaps here, what is the best kit of a Hawker Hunter available ? I am planning a project to do some of the major post war British military aircraft. I was thinking Hunter, Canberra, Lightning for starters. Probably in 1/48 scale.
Thanks all
Dave

In my opinion tha academy kit is a good choice. I built it this autumn but beware of their decals. I have never had any success with them so I had to get a sheet from Hannants. Hope this is of some help

i agree with the academy vote - totally decent kit there.
those post war british jets are lovely choice for a mass build theme.
actually, has there been a campaign or group build along those lines?

Is that the bomber variant Canberra or the Photo reconnaisance one?

Ive recently build the academy hunter and it was a dream to build. I had a few probs with the academy decals but they eventually conformed with using micro set and micro sol.

Hi there Camogirl.
I`ve tried using the microsytem on acedemy kits myself but to no good. Could I ask how do you exactly fix theese decals? Hope you have some clues I can use as I like the subjects of Acedemy
