Good day gents. Out of nowhere I find this 1/48 ICM Yak-7B in my pile. I picked it up and it seems like an easy build, till I found out very little detail in the cockpit area Anyone got shots of the cockpit? Also, it had an engine with it so I could need some engine shots too. I made a little googling but I can't find pics for the interior. Lastly, were winter version Yaks painted in white or were splashed with whitewash the same way they did with tanks at that time?

I am in the process of building a Yak-1 in winter camo with skis. I'll have to check some of my reference sites for cockpit detail. As for the winter camo though......
Everything I've seen and read says that Yaks left the factory with a black and green camo pattern and that the white was indeed a "whitewash" applied in the field with brushes, sprayguns, and even mops. So the advice I was given was to paint the black and green first and then apply a thin and spotty white spray over top.
