What colors where the avengers at Guadacanal?

I think they were still in the early war two-tone paint sceme, like this:

(not saying that particular AC was at gaudacanal - just the first example i found)

so 'US blue gray' with 'light gull gray' lower surfaces. the order to change away from this did not come till after Gaudacanal. In fact, the tri-color scheme didn't come till a year after Gaudacanal.

note that the order for the white bars did not come out till after the end of action on guadacanal. Also, from january '42 till february '43, all US aircraft were to have stars on both wings, and on both upper and lower surfaces - and since action on guadacanal ceased in Feb. 43, most likely you will need to include stars in all positions

Can you be more specific?

Which Avenger and what year at Guadalcanal? Many Grumman Avengers lands there from 1942 until end of the war and maybe after the war too. Camo schemes are from Two-tone, three-tone and overall glossy sea blue.
