Hi guys:
I decided to change the seat belts I made these with lead foil and masking tape. Donīt know if they are ok. One thing is sure, they donīt look like a cartoon. This model has a closed framed canopy, so I believe that they will look fine through it.
What do you fellows think ?

Thanks Nigel.
Yesterday night I glued the fuselage with the cockpit in place. Now after 24 hs the the liquid cement I used (Humbrol) is well dryed so Iīll start the process of sanding the seams. There is a place where the fuselage meets the rudder that Iīll use some putty because the seam is pronounced. I think it was a problem caused in the gluing, not a deffect of fit.
Will take some pics and post them here.

Hey Nigel, I hope this doesn't sound dumb, but are rust/red things fuel tanks?
If so..........eeeeek! That's alot of fuel to be riding on top of bombs.

Thank you very much Nigel.
This pic is great. I canīt wait to see the rest of them.
This one gives me a perfect idea of what was like the real bomb bay. Those fuel tanks looks very similar in color and shape to the ones in my kit. Very usefull.
How was the trip and visit to Hendon ? Oh boy I would really like to make a visit myself.

Hi Carlos.
The trip to Hendon was great and I recommend it to anyone visiting the UK.
I would wait a couple of months before going as there are a few areas closed at the moment as they seem to be bringing exibits down from the satelite museum at RAF Cosford.
Even though the kids are on holiday this week it was still ok though.
I took over 250 photos and did a few walkrounds, mostly of things Ive got in my stash,, :-)
Hannants,,a great UK model shop,,is 5 minutes walk away as well,,so cash those travellers cheques before you go
My poor feet are still aching this morning

I think you should pick up the RAF etched belt set from Eduard while you still have the opportunity. It is an excellent set and will add to your model...

Thanks Steve. Thatīs a good recomendation but the problem is that I canīt buy the set here in the modelling stores, because they donīt have it in stock. I have to buy it via Internet and the delivery until it arrives here will demand at least a couple (maybe 3) of weeks. What Iīm convinced is to change the copilotīs seat belt again. Will see.
Thanks.
Thanks.
