I like the green Zeroes better than the silver. Nice job but the wire seem to be loose.

...errr.. i think someone used a thin fishing line, superglued at both ends... never tried that myself though....

hi ricky....use a thin streched sprue for the riggings...then glue it on both ends. normal string is too thick for its scale. others use human hair . which i haven't tried.

yes the zero is beautiful..though the rig is crooked. thanks for sharing.

Hi Ricky,
A very nice Zero, like you say you just need to sort out the antenna wire. Here's a link to my online build of a Spitfire Mk 1 showing how I attach the antenna wire. Open up the thumbnails, the explanation is then under the pic.

Hi Ricky!

Nice Zero and nice camouflage! The only real "problem" is the aerial wire but this as already been pointed out... I would carefully sand away the excess decals on the prop blades using a very fine sanding paper. it would be cool to see more planes from you! Do you have any favorite subject other than the Zero?
Alan, there are not that many silver Zeros... in fact I don't know if there was any Zero used in operation that was silver!? You meant IJN grey I suppose!

Beats the heck out of my first airplane model.
The weathering you've done beats anything in my collection so far. Very nice job. I hope we get to see some more airplanes from you in the near future.

Some people have great success using stretched sprue for antenna wires. I myself tried it several times and usually ended up throwing the sprue accross the room and scaring the cat. Now I use very thin "fly-fishing" line. Attached with CA glue.
