Hi Johnny, Yep I use Parafilm-M for masking and I've masked the He 111 using it.
This is not that difficult, honest.
Tips:
1. Don't overstretch the Parafilm and only stretch it one way.
2. Use a sharp blade to cut, use only the weight of the knife to achieve the cut and make sure you get right into the corners when you cut.
3. Take your time.

Here's a great article on using parafilm. Personally I love the stuff! Every now and then I re-read the article for a fun refresher.

Please excuse my ignorence but what is Parafilm? Is it the strech films that we use in kitchens?

Parafilm is used in laboratories for sealing test tubes and the like. It's a waxy film that is stretched about 3 times it's length (to "actvate" it), allowed to relax, then it will stick to it's self and, more importantley, to most surfaces including plastic, but without adhesive. It is therefor well suited to canopy masking.
