Here is the completed UH-1H Dust-Off helo that will go into a dio. Still have to add the crewmen in back as well. I made the "57" red crosses and "The Originals" decals myself as well.

These are the pics I am basing it on:

And the model;

More here.

Let me know what you think.

Very nice example Gino. What is the scale? You did the photos and the crew proud with your example. I really like it.

Gino
I don't have words, just a big

Question: When did you start this kit? It seems like you have built and finished it in just a couple of weeks.

Dave,
It is the Panda 1/35 kit. Check out the in-progress thread here.

Erik,
I started it about 3 weeks ago, shortly after finishing the M2A2 ODS dio. I find the helos go pretty quick. I really enjoy detailing them out as well. Now I have to do the dio base and figures for this one. It will be pretty extensive. More to come later....

Gino I've always been a big fan of the Huey and yours has actually made me want to buy a kit and build one... but obviously yours would have looked much better with a door gunner and some crude messages instead of that red cross.....

excellent work ! it looks fantastic.

Now all you need is a 57th Medical Co. UH-60 to go side by side with it.

Whoa Gino…she really looks sharp. I especially enjoyed your interior work. The decals turned out nice, no bleeding. How were you able to achieve the decal ‘the originals’. Can’t wait to see it put into a dio. Seeing yours has me wanting to get back to my H’ Huey...but it won't be anytime soon.

Hey, how's the Pave Hawk coming along, get started at all yet.

Thanks Joe, glad you like it. The decals were made on my computer. "The Originals" was made in powerpoint using the word art tool to get the arc in it. It was printed on white decal paper with a black surround. No runs at all. I use Krylon Crystal Clear acrylic topcoat and never have any problems with the colors running.

Haven't even started on the PaveHawk yet. Keep getting more customers' builds and can't get to it. Hopefully soon.
