Hi guys:
Here are more pics of my Mosquito as it is now. Paint work (some details lasting) and decaling finished. The paints are Model Master enamels. The gloss is a coat of Future that I applied before and after the decaling process. This was my first attempt with the preshading method and I think itīs not too bad.
Hope you like it. Comments will be appreciated.

Hey Carlos
The preshading is more than "not so bad", in fact I think it adds a lot to your Mosquito. I've been practicing preshading myself since Mal posted his artical about it the other day.
Those decals are beautiful. Are the kit decals? The black letters outlined in yellow really look great.
Keep us posted

Looking good mate. Did you encounter any fit problems while working on this kit?
Preshading looks good. Just a comment on the preshading. It seems like the darker areas (grey ones) show the preshading really well, while the white areas shows little or no preshading at all. AFAIK, lighter areas would show more than their darker counterparts

Looking good Carlos. Those decals do look nice with the black outline against the yellow.
Did you preshade the underneath as well as the pics don't show underneath.
Cockpit looks fantastic.
Can't wait to see it finished.

Hi Carlos!
The model looks good! It's unusual to see the Mosquito in such a paintscheme. The pre-shading seems to have worked very well. Now all we need are pictures of the finished product! Miam! Miam!

Your mosquito looks great Carlos. I, too, am excited to see it all done. Just out of curiosity, how big is the model?
Thanks,
Leon

Hi Carlos.
Looking very nice
I was wondering how the "masked" preshading was going to work out and its turned out very well.It certainly makes a difference I think.
Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing it finished

Thanks to all guys.
Hermon: the decals are the ones of the kit.
Ralph: The overall fit is perfect. No fit problems. The only area in wich you have to be carefull and in my case requieres a little filler and smooth sanding is the wing to fuselage join. Maybe the way the preshaiding looks is because I masked the areas to apply it. Check out the pics in my previous posts.
Andy: Yes, I preshaded the undersides. Iīll post some pics.
Leon: wingspan: 34,4 cm fuselage length: 26,4 cm. Itīs a big 1/48.
Tomorrow Iīll go throug the little details that are remaining and with the masking process of the canopy (ughh)
