Andy Brazier (Bethyn) takes a look at something a little unusual which will delight all fans of British post-war jets - a 1/48 scale Supermarine Attacker. And no, it''s not the Classic Airframes kit... it''s Magna Models'' resin and white-metal model.

Hi all.
Nice review Andy and an unusual subject too:)
I know how much Andy has been sweating over building this the past few days and it should be something worth seeing when hes done

I also wich you good luck with this one Andy! Thanks for the review and for those wanting to know how the build is progressing, take a look at the Garry Beebe's Flattop's Campaign Thread in the Warships Forum.

Thanks guys.
I am sure i am winning at the moment on this build. I will post some more progress pics after i have got a coat of primer on it.
As for the kit itself, one side of the fuselage was warped and twisted more then i originally thought, but with careful filling, sanding and a few swear words thrown in for good measure ( Nige has heard a few of them on MSN chat LOL) i am pretty sure it is all straight.
I am enjoying this build as i don't get to work in resin a lot and it is a nice learning process.

And Andy has heard a few choice phrases describing my build at the moment too
Good idea though,,get a mate on MSN Chat and you can grumble and gripe to each other as much as you like while waiting for things to dry :-) A group build with a difference
Hope your planning on bringing this one along to the next show Andy.

:-) all we do is moan at each other about the state of those wingy thingys we are building, but it does make you feel better :-) .
As long as it is finished it will be there.
