Is it realistic to have a soft edge camo on 1/72 scale aircraft? Or would it be hard edged regardless?

I've seen many very realistice soft edges in 1/72 and have succeeded at this a few times myself. Hard edge always look hardedged. Just get really close withthe airbrush tip and lilmit the amount of paint coming out.

Hi Godfather
I don`t think soft edges are realistic in 1/72.As the overspray on a full sized aircraft would not be noticeable in such a small scale, and would appear hard edged.
What we are talking about here though, I think is the
impression. If it looks right to you as the modeller, and your`e happy with the finish then that`s all that matters.
P.S. I do think it can look very effective if done carefully,I have seen some excellent 1/72 scale aircraft with soft edge finishes. But to me it never seems right.
