Lancaster under carraige colour

i have just bouhgt airifxs 1/72 lancaster and it says that the under carraige is a sea grey 165 humbrol but i am not sure because i haven't seen any lancs with that colour

You are dead on, it should be black, most Lanc missions were at night. So a satin black or glossy black will work. Good luck and make sure to post a few pics (I love the Lancs!)

would humbrols 33 work? and also is the top brown and green or a desert tan and brown?

Topside is Brown and green on every Lancaster during the war that I have seen ...my 2 cents worth ...I also got to see the lancaster at the Hamilton War Heritage Museum and I agree with the rest of the guys that everything underneath is black...
