Hi,

What wheaterings do my aircraft need?? (I'm pretty new to aircraft)
I know that you have to do some fuzzy black lines behind the exhaust.
I mainly build WWII aircraft, mostly German

Hi Winters

This question is a bit like "how long is a piece of string?"
It really depends on the individual aircraft and what level of accuracy you want to achieve. Its also a personal choice as to what you think looks good.

Disclaimer: I'm pretty new to practicing a lot of these techniques myself so bear this in mind when reading my advice.

The minimum shading for me are washes and highlighting (normally drybrushing)
For more specific weathering like paint chips, exhaust and gun stains, etc, the best way to determine what needs to be done is to find a picture of the subject or at least a similar subject.

Exhaust stains are trickier than they sound, each plane has a unique airflow that causes the exhaust to flow differently over the airframe. Also, things like the period of the war your model represents, when things start to go bad it becomes more important to keep the things flying than keep them clean....

Hope this helps
