Hi Roger!
I think the new Hasegawa 1/48 P-40 kits are what you are looking for. They produced the P-40E kit last year and now start to make all the following variants. So far you can find the E (HAJT086), K (HA09659) and N (HAJT088) and the M (HA09678) is on his way.
A review of the P-40K kit should be published here in the near future

Yes, the hasegawa is the newest mold and well done. I've also heard good things about the old mauve kit which is currently boxed by eduard. Modelingmadness.com has some good review of the various p-40 kits - might be worth a look.

As the others said Hasegawa or Mauve/Eduard but be aware that those kits are not easy builds.
The overengineered Hasegawa with its multiple part fuselage halfs need careful working and you may consider to include a spreader to make the fuselage halfs meet the wings.
I have 2 Eduard kits (N and M) and they improve the lacking cockpit of the Mauve kit. But you have a multi media kit with resin and etched parts what is not a problem to me but may be for you. This kit needs a spreader glued inside!
I like both kits.
cheers

Revell made a 1/32 E that is pretty common on Evil Bay.Think there might be online artical somewhere to stretch it to 'N' edition.Saw it a long time ago.
