Thanks for your votes guys and for following my request to keep the voting simple, it certainly helps me when toting up the results. There were one or two who did fully understand the proceedure, so I will try and clarify it next time.

OK, here's how it went:

    modelguy2 (Albatros Dv ) 23
    lampie (Hurricane) 1
    Holdfast (F-14) 1
    HeavyArty (UH-1H) 11
    betheyn (Mig 17F) 5
    bf443 (Mossie) 1
    mother (Cobra) 22
    PolarBear (Goose) 9
    CPTKelley (F-18) 1
    TedMamere (Texan) 26
    F-4E (C-54) 2
    newtothegame (Buffalo) 3
    JollyRoger (Me P1011) 1
    JPTRR (Do 17Z) 7
    alpha_tango(FW 190A-8) 1

The most number of 1st choice votes went to modelguy2 (Albatros Dv ) with 6 (18 points).
The most number of 2nd choice votes went to TedMamere (Texan) with 5 (10 points).
The most number of 3rd choice votes went to PolarBear (Goose) with 4 (4 points).

Only 18 members cast their votes, nearly half as many as last month, the turnout was 15, 2 less than last month, which is still pretty good, only 4 off the record of 19. No ladies again this time but we live in hope for the coming months, well done to everyone who entered, nice to see some new faces again.

The voting was obviously in favour of the top 3 from the word go. helicopters and WWI subjects are obviously well liked but the winner was in between these 2 eras. I personally was surprised that PolarBear's Grumman goose only came 4th. Only one point seperated 2nd and 3rd and only 3 points seperated 1st and 2nd.
Rest assured there were no bad models here so please don't be put off with entering again and remember you can enter a model up to 3 times.

The results, well done all:

1st TedMamere T-6 G "Texan" 26 points

2nd modelguy2 Albatros Dv 23 points
Sorry no image at the mo?

3rd mother Cobra 22 points

Congratulations to the winners!

Hi Mal

I was one of those who forced you to edit the posts.

The problem was not that I did not understand BUT there was so much written in bold font that I just skipped it and went on to my voting :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I'll try to do better next time

cheers

Hi all!

Many thanks for all who have voted... even if they were less this time (due to the server problems?).
Anyway, congratulations to all who have participated and a big thanks to Mal for all the work. And don't forget there's still a Spitfire MOM wich would deserve more entries!

LOL :-) The bold font was my attempt to get new voters to read it clearly that doesn't work. Not to worry as I do understand that it is actually quite difficult not to add a salutation but now you know I'll have no worries. I used to have to PM offenders and ask them to edit their posts but now I can do it. You weren't the only one
Yes J-L I've been hoping for a few more entries in the Spitfire MOM Well done on the March MOM, well deserved.

Congratulations to the winners and everyone who entered.
I think the server problems and site maintenance gave everyone probems, both in this and Spitfire MOM.
If thats the case,,,I reckon there should be a lot of people waiting to enter Aprils MOM and hopefully we'll have a bumper entry
Well done everyone

Great work, everyone!

Like the mighty Arnold, I will be back! Some day, a 1/72 is going to win! Unfortunaletly though, I have not had the time to build a new Spitfire this month, so I won't make the Spitfire MOM!

Cheers!

Nigel: What's a "bumper entry"?

Congrats to all the winners and participants. I agree that the gallery problems, probably contributed to the somewhat low entry / vote. Hopefully being back on the normal schedule will help.
