I just purchased Hasegawa's Messerschmitt Bf-109E-4 "Wick" (kit #9671) and was wondering what aftermarket company makes a cockpit update/detail set for it, if any. Would any E-4 detail set work (for a Hasegawa E-4, that is)?

Hi Felix

I found a couple of sets that are designed for the Hasegawa kit and might do the job for you:

True Details #TD49005 is a resin set for $8.96.
Eduard #48062 is an etched set for the cockpit, wheel wells and radiators - that one's $19.95

There are also plenty of update sets designed for the Tamiya kit and I'm sure you could fit them with a little tinkering.

I looked at the sets you posted and then I went to Meteor Productions web site who carry lines like Cutting Edge and Yellow Hammer, etc. I decided to purchase the Cutting Edge cockpit set and a set of masks for the splinter camouflage. Thanks again, I will look at the others for future models.
