"you just can't have too many Spitfires".

Well done everyone.
All the Spits were very good,a nice parade!
Im surprised the voting wasnt closer,it was really hard to choose a top 3.
Mal,that MKI Spit of yours is becoming a legend in these parts, and its always nice to see it on display at the shows
Congratulations to the winners and well done again to all who entered.

Hi All,

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I can be painful deciding which mere three of such a offering of excellent kits to choose! I often change my mind several times before casting my votes, and spend a good deal of time clicking back and forth between photos of entries.

Great selection of Spitfires,... maybe we should keep the Spitfire thread open and just keep adding to it as we complete more and more. It's defenitely a worthy subject.

Hi all!

Congratulation Mal... as THE Spitfire lover it is nice that you won this one!
Frank, finally your strategy suceeded!
I agree about an open Spitfire thread... I will add one in the near future as I plan to build a Mk. VIII for the "Club Med" Campaign. Sorry Mal, it will have US markings...

Congratulations toall who entered. It was probably the hardest decision I've had deciding who to vote for.
Also congratulations to Mal for coming first, although it's hardly surprising, he's probably built more spitfires than Supermarine.

:-)
