A week or two ago I posted the News that Accurate Armour were ''diversifying'' into 1/48th Scale R.A.F. Airfield vehicles. Now, the company have sent me images of the first four vehicles, which can be seen:

Hi Jim!

These vehicles look extraordinary! Maybe a bit pricey... but I think you have to pay for originality, quality and detail... I will definitely buy some of these!

Thanks for the info! I will check out often for availability!

I must agree they are a bit pricey, but they do look fantastic. The Foam Fire Tender is absolutely extraordinary and unique. Diorama's will benefit from these additions.
Thanks for posting Jim.

Hi Jim

As I expected - their vehicles look superb! Many, many moons ago, when I used to produce Blueprint Models, I knew a company that sub-contracted parts for Accurate Armour. They complained to me about the number of their castings that AA rejected... Suffice it to say, Accurate Armour have amongst the highest standards of any resin kit manufacturer - and that kind of quality comes with a price attached.

All the best

Fantastic models, if they weren't so expensive, i'd buy them all. The one advantage of these ground support vehicles is the ability to reuse them for different aircraft when taking photos...... hhhmmmmmmm........ I wonder if Trumpeter is watching?!?

Hi Frank

That pretty much sums up the cottage industry experience: we produce it, and the big boys watch to see what sells well... :-)

Very true,.... but in this instance, interest will be curtailed by fiscal restrain. So companies like Trumpeter will not get an accurate read on interest based on sales.

Hey A.A. when can we expect to see some 1914 - 1918 vehicles?

I'm genuinely confused. Just WHAT exactly, does this have to do with the subject of this News Story?..Jim
