While going through my old kits i came across a TU-2, a BE-6 and an SU-7. They are 1/72 scale kits and new in the box but they have no manufacturer information on the boxes or in the kit. They were made in the mid 70's or early 80's in the former East Germany.
I would appreciate any help in identifying who the manufacturer of the kits is/was. I can e mail fotos of the kits too (I was unable to post them here).

Could they be by VEB? I'm sure that I have an SU-7 by them. They did a variety of other stuff in 1/100 too.

Hi Paul
The manufacturer was VEB Plasticart (this is not the complete title but I do no longer have models from them). Some of the better models were reissued by Revell Germany (Junkers G24 and F.13, Il-4) while the F.13 was never issued under the Plasticart label but the masters were done by Axel Dietz.
1/72 that I remember: Tu-2, Be-6, Su-7, An-14, Junkers G.23/24, Il-4, also a Baade 152 (a super rare collectors item now)
A nice model was the Antonov An-14 but it was not re-issued since 1988. Also ther were some in 1/100.
Comet, Tristar, Il-62, Tu-104, Tu-154, Jak-42, Mi-6, L-60 Brigadyr, Saab Draken, MiG-21F-13, An-26 (I'm sure I forgot some)
some models are still issued by adp/mastercraft
HTH
cheers
Steffen

There has been a Su-9 with working canopy and landing gear too.
