Hi all,
Just joined the site and thought I might share a couple of photos of my recently finished Trumpeter MIG 3 1/32 scale. Scratch built cockpit detail along with some other areas.
Hope you like it, all coments welcome.

Great first post, Pete! I love the Mig-3, and you've really managed to capture the raw beauty of this mashine!
Any pictures of that cockpit?
Welcome to armorama. Keep posting!
Cheers!

Hi Pete
Welcome to Armorama! What a beauty! I love the weathering effect on the wing centre section suggesting the internal structure. Do you have any shots of the cockpit?
Can you give a little detail of how you painted and weathered the kit and how you created the snow for the base?
All the best
Rowan

Hi Rowan
assuming this is the Trumpeter kit I would guess you find this online build by Peter very interesting:
Workbench: Trumpeter 1/32nd MiG-3
HTH

Hi , All
Thanks for the good comments
Here are some cockpit shot as requested by Polar Bear and Rowan.
Steffen is correct the model was the subject of an online build but I did not think it was proper to advertize another web site seeing as I have only just joined.
At present I am doing an online build of the trumpeter YAK-18,
Thanks and glad you like it, must get back to work now
Pete

Nice work there Pete.
I have a Mig 3 I intend on doing some time in the next year, and yours will be an excellent inspiration for it. I really admire the work you put into the cokpit. Very nicely done.
I don't know about you but I am really hanging out for someone to produce an LA-5 and 7.
Cheers,
Jay

VERY NICE Peter! Both here and the article on the other site.
Anyone make one in 1/48?
I used to build 1/32 many, many moons ago but they were not as expensive then and I was worried about storage space either.
