Hi Marek, your PZL 11C has turned out very nice, your diorama is very good as well, I love your grass and ground work. If I might add a couple comments that might help it be better. The figures are a little shiny, you might give them a spray of some flat clear to tone them down a bit. Also the drums would look nice having some scratches and little rust and the floor inside the house and the table would also look very nice with some oil spills/grease stains. You have a wonderful scene here that tells a very good story. It is well laid out, the plane is a beauty, the building, grass and ground work are top notch and with the simple additions of what I mentioned above it would be an excellent diorama. Cheers Kevin

Hi Marek,
Your dio looks really good. Plane has subtle weathering and groundwork looks interesting. I need to agree with Kevin about barrels and floor but I would also add some dust on plane's wheels (as it stand on ground not on grass). I think colour powders (for example Agama or MIG) would do the thing.
Pls tell us something more about your dio, what materials did you use, what kind of paints etc.

Thanks Jean-Luc
Sepia photo & old movie filter looks nice too
By the way - if you need very easy application to manage photos - as crop, size, sharpen I recommend you my own http://www.easyphoto.pl/index_0.html. It's JAVA based application, so no instalation is needed. It starts just from webpage via JavaWebStart technology. And it's free

Hi Marek,
Do you have a copy of the Mirage book Wześniowe Straty 1939? This has the best reproduced photographs of Dudwał's aircraft after it was captured by the Germans. The plane appears to be very faded with patches of new, darker colour. One wingtip may be a paler colour. The chessboard on the rudder seems to be newly painted over a patch of new, darker khaki. It would make a fine subject for the airbrush artiste. There is a model of it here:
http://hsfeatures.com/pzlag_1.htm
Now I am waiting for Kagero's new Topshot on the PZL P11c.

Hi Antoni,
During buliding my model I used Monografie Lotnicze (no. 36, 37) PZL P.11 A.Glass, T. Kopanski T Makowski. And Mushroom Model Magazine PZL P.11C (B. Belcarz, T. Kopanski).
My model shows H. Dudwal plane before September the first 1939. I atached three photos.
The plane you described (http://hsfeatures.com/pzlag_1.htm) is also H. Dudwal plane but during first days of II WW, in Poland. And it's true that after the demages, during night mechanics done nearly miracle and fix everything. A lot of polish planes was repainted after 1th of September, and chessboards, numbers, etc. very often chenged or was coverd by next layer of paint.

I have all these references, also Monografie Lotnicze 72 & 73 for PZL P7. Very colourful but only model is Broplan vacform.
Probably hard to find now is Historical Aircraft Digest 00-5 PZL Fighters Part Two P.11 variants. This has drawings of cockpits and other parts of P11a and P11c with notes for correct colours for every knob and dial. There are also volumes for P1 to P7 and P24.
From the 1960s I also have copies of Profile Publications for P-11, P-23, P-24, P-37 and Lublin R-XIII as well Typy Broni from holidays in Poland.
Scale Aviation Modeller International November 2004 had article by Lukasz Kedzierski on building Mirage's P 11 with Part PE and open panels. Markings for Brzeski from Techmod sheet.

Now I'm planning to built Lublin R-XIII ter/hydro diorama. And I'm looking for any documentation. I found Aircraft Profile 231 Lublin R.XIII Variants in USA Old Line Books for 10USD. The some with TBIU no. 65 it's easy to find on www.allegro.pl (Polish ebay).
But if you have some interesting photos of hydro version it will be great if you send the scan to me.

I think Profile 231 has almost all the photographs of the Lublin XIII that exist. Lotnictwo z Szachownica 10 has some photos of Polish naval aircraft but all the Lublins are wrecks. One, 718, is fitted with wheels instead of floats.
Wrześniowe Straty 1939 only has a few poor photos of wrecked Lublins and also Skrzydła w Opałach (including one with skis).
For a long time I have been trying to find Wydawnictwo Militaria No 1 which is probably the best reference for the Lublin XIII. Perhaps photos of the inside and detailed plans. I have the Part PE for the Lublin but I cannot work out where piece number 20 goes. I do not think it fits under piece number 2. Maybe on the floor in front of number 2? Hopefully the book could answer these questions.
Here is a review of the Mirage kit. So far I cannot find one for the Lublin ter.

Thanks a lot for your comments. As I wrote I built it about 1,5 year, but with long braks (ie. 3 month when i ahd broken my hand:-)). If we would like to know how long it takes working 8 hours per day - I think that the result will be 1,5 month.
