Here's 'The Debden Kidd' (20 x 48) after one day of blocking in ... about two more days to go.




While the above canvas is drying before I go back and apply the "finishing" layer(s) of paint, I'll be working on 'Twin-tailed Dragons'. Here's version #2 - the collector and I like this one better. Version #1's pencil study is on my home page. For the final 24 x 32 canvas I'll be adding two more P-38s in the distance. This study is 11 x 14 -- I'll have a better view of it when it's dry enough to scan:

Thanks for sharing with us how your Artwork is developed on the canvas. I stand in awe of individuals such as you, who can take up pencil and or brush and produce such work. I have admired your work for some time, and am glad to see you here on Armorama.

The only time I have tried to work in that medium was long ago,
and in my case you can still see some of the numbers through the paint. :-)
