With so much interest in the Heinkel He 162 this year, Dragon have very cleverly re-released their excellent 1/48 scale kit in a dramatic new form.

In the review of the new Dragon model I've included links to scans of the original TriMaster instructions for those wishing to maximize the potential of the latest release.

If you have comments or questions please post them here.

Thanks!

Hi Nigel

Just stand further away!

Seriously, this has totally messed up my schedules (whatever they're worth!) - 'cause it just begs to be built! Dohh! Can I fit an He 162 Mistel into "Dual In The Sky" somehow?... :-)

All the best

Rowan

hi nigel! not quite the same, but in 1/72. i built this when it was a dragon release, but used squadron putty for a nose weight in the bomb. which then melted due to the chemical reaction! oops! the dragon kit had some p/e which the revell has'nt but this makes a nice conversation piece kit

Omigawd. First I was thinking of buying the Tamiya Salamander. Then this came out with the Mistel. Shame that this isn't the Ju-88 Mistel.

Must buy! :-) :-)

Thanks for that Rowan - saves me uploading images for the News story! :-)

Now if they're working with the old (but excellent) Trimaster moulds, it would be interesting if they could get their hands on the Mauve moulds as well - particularly the ME110...Jim

Hi Phil

I am sorry as I started my post you had not posted yet, but as I submitted it there were 3 new posts (I looked a little around to find the kit) ... doh :-) :-) :-) :-)

Hi Jim

IIRC the Mauve model was just a Fujimi Bf 110 with some resin conversions ... I guess and hope Eduard will do the Messerschmitt Zerstörer justice

cheers and
