Here are some pics of the model I am now working on, the 1/48 scale DML Horten Ho 229B.
These pics were taken just before I sprayed the clear gloss coat on the model.
All the decals are now on and will post a couple pics of it soon.

Thanks JollyRoger and lampie!
lampie,
I use a Badger 150 airbrush with the fine needle and head assembly and for paints I always use Model Master enamels. The model was painted free handed and no masks were used except for painting the metal areas behind the jet engines, I used Alclad II to paint the metal panels.
Sunday I will post more pics of this model.

Hi Les
That mottling does look lovely! Weird synchronicity though - I was day dreaming last week about digging this same kit out of the stash!
Looking forward to seeing the finished result given your superb vintage photo treatment.
All the best
Rowan

Thanks Rowan!
This model is being built for somebody else so it won't be in any of my airfield pictures. I plan to ship it to its owner this week.
I have just finished this model and it is drying right now, in about an hour I will take a few pictures of it and post them.
Painting these mottle camouflage schemes are a lot of fun and I guess thats why I like building these German nightfighters, my next two models will be more Ho 229 nightfighters!
