Hi
If anyone could put me right please....

Quoted Text

I know...I know....the doctors have tried....

...

I'm up to speed with the European Theatre camo colours for RAF WW2 Aircraft, but not so sure about the colours for North Africa/Tropical shades.

I know the underside colour was Azure Blue but could anyone explain the topside colours please?

I'm not sure which shades of Stone they should be.

Many thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,

The upper camo colours were the standard dark earth and the lighter brown was Mid Stone.

Thanks Martin.
DE and Mid stone it is.

Over on Don Colour there seems to have been quite a few RAF deserty colours: Stones; dark, light and medium, red brown etc.
How or where were these used?

Cheers and thanks
Peter
