Hi again guys.
During the past weeks I was modelling !!! and I finished another project This one is a P 47 Mk II kit from Academy in 1/72 scale. The markings are the ones of the kit and they represent an AC from 615 Sqn, India 1945. The decals are Acdemy quality and they gave a lot of work to avoid silvering I trimed the letters and it was necesary several coats of Future before and aft decaling. I also used Micrsol solution. The white markings were applied with Tamiya Acrylic white and the gral. camo was painted with Model Master Enamels. The mate coat is also MM. For the canopy I used Parafilm M. The fit was great and no there was no problems during the building. I modified the position of the antena mast placing it a little aft in the spine because the original position was very near to the canopy, I cheked my refernces and it´s an error of the kit, if you leave the mast as it comes you can´t slide the canopy open.
Here are some pics. Comments appreciated.

Hi Carlos!
That's a great P-47! I like the decoration and the paintscheme is well done. You also did a great job on the panel lines (especially for that scale). Did you use oils?

Hi Carlos, that looks fantastic. I am beginning to think about building one of the Academy 1/72 aircraft. They look great when built. How was the fit of the parts?

Thank you Jean Luc. Yes, I used black oil applied pure (without dilution) with a piece of cotton.

Hi Martin:
Thank you. The fit was great. No problems in any part of the build. If you´re going to make one of this kits, remember what I said about the position of the antena mast.
