What in the world was Trumpeter thinking when they released that Mi-4 ? Why not the Hind? I would feel alot better about the price if it was something other than than what they came up with.. Any comments?

Just a guess, but it could be that the Mi-4 is more widely used by the PLA in China. It does seem that the gear their releases towards Chinese used military equipment.

I do tend to agree that the commercial interest would be a million times greater for the Hind helicopter, rathher than the obsolete and limited (combat)service Hind.

I don't know... maybe testing the waters to see how well the Hound would 'fly', before committing fully to the Hind?
Never liked the Mi-4 much myself.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Hoplite someday.
Thanks,
