Wow - what a treat, thanks for posting that!! I did't realize what a graceful bird the 262 was. Is this the only flying one around? I especially liked the second video right close to the end where the Mig 29 is taxiing for it's part in the show. That's what 50 to 60 years of jet aircraft evolution will get you.

nice - thanks

Is this the only flying one around?

Bob,

There are some "NEW" ones flying out of Washington State, but I believe this is the only "Restored" one flying.

P.S. - As the narrator mentions the US, this may be one of the "NEW" ones ? The "New" ones are build using original shop drawings from Messerschmidt, and Templates made from existing "static" 262's.

Here's one of the "NEW" one's Tango-Tango

Okay Chuck, I see.... not restored originals but 'reproduced' masterpieces. Still, very nice indeed.

thanks

Thanks for that Chuck. What an absolutely fantastic sight that is. Let's just hope the trend of building brand new 'warbirds' continues! There's a few on my wish list that's for sure! Westland Whirlwind anyone?

Arise Sir Chuck, I dubb thee ....Great Video Hunter.

Another cracking find Chuck.

I'm almost sure it is the same 262 featured in Aeroplane magazine Dec. 2005.

Glorious.

And I'll go with jetprovost...with the Whilwind...if only....

Cheers and thanks Chuck...
