Tamiya 1/48 kit. All ready for priming and painting tomorrow.

Couple of questions:
1. I saw most restored Corsairs glossy. Is this the same during WWII?
2. I use only Tamiya enamels (same lineup as acrylics). What would be the closest color to Navy Blue?
