Fred Boucher (JPTRR) has sent us a fascinating set of pics of the B-17G displayed in the 390th Bombardment Group (Heavy) Museum at the Pima Air Museum in Tucson, AZ.
The set includes shots of the interior of the top turret, ball turret and the nose section under the cockpit and behind the bombadier nose station. What really gets me is the range of colours. All those who just like to paint their kits with an overall coat of "Interior Green" beware - these pics are subversive!

Wow these photos are priceless! Was looking hard for similar type reference photos and even went to the local musuems here for them but only got as close as the Lancasters.

#2 plane on my all time favorite, so these pics give me options. love it.
