I am masking using Tamiya tape (yellow one) and place the mask on the canopy I can see the frames when I burnish the tape but not very clearly. Any suggestions for making the imprint more clear?

Hi Godfather
Are you laying the tape right across the frames and then trimming it to shape? If so, rubbing a pencil across it (as though you're doing a brass-rubbing) will highlight the frame.
I hope this helps.

Although I'm not a major aircraft builder today, over the years I've learned to burnish down the masking tape with a mechanical pencil along the frame lines. 1. it insures the tape is tight, and 2. helps mark the frames.
For really lightly molded or scored frames, I prefer using Bare Metal Foil for masking, much easier to see the frames. Just don't leave it on for any longer than needed, (as in remove as soon as paint is dry!) as it's a bit*h to remove after a prolong period of time. Hope that helps.
